It's June 2022 and time for Class of 2023 Nashville Senior Pictures!
I cruised over to Hohenwald, TN to create with Bryson- the starting Point Guard for Lewis County High School.
We met his Mom and his awesome girlfriend in Downtown Hohenwald and did some chilled-out casual shots first. It was super dope hanging out and talking about basketball, upcoming Senior Year and the story of what he had been through the past months with a knee injury. We took advantage of the super cool murals and the atmosphere there.
Right away, I was super inspired by Bryson's recovery story and resolve to come back from his knee injury and have an amazing senior season. This would play in to the coolness of our Sportraits, later in the day...

Our second location was some unique basketball courts at a local park. Bryson WOW-ed me with his sick looking black Memphis Grizzlies Ja Morant jersey. We HAD to take advantage of the sweet fit. Some white, yellow and black Nike Air Force 1's brought it all together. I made sure to get both intimate close ups and ultra-wide powerful atmosphere shots, that took advantage of the deep blue sky that day.
BRYSON, 2023 LEWIS COUNTY HS PANTHERS
The Mustang, baby! Bryson's yellow Ford Mustang and letterman jacket and a 4 light setup led to one of my favorite images of the year! He is sitting against the hood of his car, looking at a basketball and the opening to the high school gym is right behind the car. We created this shot at about 8:30 at night- so, it was completely lighted by my lights and the headlights of his ride. SO EPIC!
An absolutely perfect Senior Portrait moment!
I completely forgot to mention that we hit the tennis courts at sunset to create some impressive Sportraits. Bryson's Mom was SO organized that it made the flow of the locations quick and seamless!
Our final creative spot for the day was the Lewis County High School Gym. Bryson killed this part of the session! I had him demonstrate some of his dribbling skills and this dude has handles! I used 4 lights to create a setup where he could jump in the air and throw a behind-the-back pass. We nailed it!
As usual, I did my best to tell the entire story of Bryson and not only his basketball career- but who he is as an entire authentic person. I always mix in a great number of your more standard smiling shots that Moms and Dads love with our ultra creative Sportraits. Senior Year only comes around once and there is literally no better way than to create a wide arch of images that give the complete picture.
